About Jo
I am a Herbalist, Naturopath and Iridologist based 8 miles north of Norwich in Norfolk.
I was inspired to study Herbal Medicine and Naturopathy during my 20s after several years of generally not feeling particularly well. My GP couldn't find anything wrong so I decided to seek out a local herbalist. It was amazing to find out that there were natural remedies and lifestyle changes to try that could make a real difference, and that I didn't have to carry on putting up with the way I felt.
In 2003 I gained diplomas in Herbal Medicine and Naturopathy at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London. There I studied Western Herbal and Naturopathic traditions alongside the fundamental elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Indian Ayurvedic medicine. I believe that the integration of Eastern and Western traditions, therapies and philosophies provides a truly broad and rich understanding of ourselves and our place within the universe.
I became interested in Iridology during my Naturopathy diploma and I went on to study in more depth with Peter Jackson-Main in Cambridge. Later in 2016 I completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Iridology at the CNM, and more recently studied Behavioural Iridology with Andrew Mason.
